Distributed Energy & Microgrid Planning

CMG has developed its own proprietary Distributed Energy & Microgrid Planning (DEMP) Framework. The DEMP is an advanced framework of processes and best practices to help assess, plan, design, and deliver effective and efficient governance, process, and technology transformation that create implementable distributed energy and microgrid roadmaps and architectures.

CMG team members created and perfected the DEMP while working at Austin Energy from 2003 to 2010, and from 2010 to 2019 while doing consulting smart grid projects for Enerjisa S.A., Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, National Grid, San Diego Gas and Electric, American Electric Power, Puget Sound Energy, National Institute of Standards and Technology, UK Department of Energy and Climate Change, and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.

Distributed Energy & Microgrid (DEMP) Planning Framework – The DEM Framework covers the assessment, benchmarking, design, architecture, and optimization steps to build grid independent or grid black star solutions.
