Amy holds a BA degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas State University, a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree with focus on international law, trade law and tax law from St. Mary’s University School of Law, and a certificate on International Relations and Affairs from The University of Texas at Brownsville.
Amy also runs Vanguard Legal PLLC and is a Board Director at Pedernales Electric Cooperative. Prior to CMG / Vanguard / PEC, Amy was a Board Director at Edwards Aquifer Authority, Owner of The Akers Law Firm, and a Legal and Economic Development Intern at Pflugerville Economic Development Corporation.
