Mr. David Valentino has extensive high-tech software and services industry experience, and held executive positions spanning executive sales, channel and partner development, partner marketing and program development. As an individual contributor and as a sales leader, Mr. Valentino has generated hundreds of millions dollars in product and services revenue building and managing US and International sales/partner organizations. For over 25 years, David has delivered considerable business expertise in world class and early staged startup organizations selling solutions into SMB and enterprise organizations around the world. Mr. Valentino’s passions are in building proven strategies and sales processes for early stage companies or business units within companies, developing repeatable models for revenue generation and sales practices for long term growth and value.

Prior to CMG, Mr. Valentino has worked in leadership and consulting roles in both Sales and Channels for numerous Pre & Post IPO organizations and early stage startups. Including; Business Objects – North American Channel Director (Business Intelligence Enterprise Software), Pervasive Software Director of Worldwide Channels (Database software and technologies for SMB through Worldwide Channel). Globeset – VP of Sales and Operations (Austin based startup delivering banking transaction software), Novus Edge – VP of Sales and Channels (edge of the network building controllers and software solutions) and American Campus Communities – VP of Strategic Partnerships ($8 billion dollar organization providing student housing for hundreds of thousands of College students a year).
Mr. Valentino was born in Chicago IL. relocating to Austin, TX. In 1996. Over his professional sales career he completed numerous nationally certified professional sales training and management courses. Including; Xerox professional sales systems, Dales Carnegie and the Versatile Salesman certifications. Mr. Valentino currently resides in Austin with his wife Mary Ann of 26 years who is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and has four grown Step-Daughters. In his spare time, David enjoys his time with his grandchildren, friends and outdoor activities.
