Agora Communications, Marketing & Expos LLC, (“Agora”) is a professional services event company that specializes in the production of “Hosted Guest” business development events for technology vendors and service providers focused on the Public Power, Public Water & Gas industries throughout North America. Agora produces four “Hosted Guest” events annually; two in Public Power (Municipal Electric and Rural Electric Cooperatives), one in water, and one for gas utilities.
The events are the following:
Municipal Smart Grid Summit (MSGS), Rural Smart Grid Summit (RSGS), Smart Water Summit (SWS), Gas Utility Summit (GUS).
Dozens of Technology Vendors and Service Providers (see attached) whose products and services are at the forefront of the modernization of the U.S. Electrical Grid and Water & Gas Distribution Systems have come to rely on The Smart Grid Summits Events as the place to meet, exchange, discuss, debate and formulate their product plans as they bring modernization through digitalization of the U.S. Public Power, Water & Gas Industries. At each Summit, (MSGS, RSGS, SWS & GUS) approximately one hundred and ten C-Level executives from one hundred Municipal and or Rural Utilities are “hosted” and brought together in order to meet with forty five plus technology vendors and service providers that are shaping the modernization of the U.S. utility infrastructure. Agora’s event management team has successfully created and produced technology related business development events since 1983.
